Now He that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;) (2Co 9:10 KJV)
The Bible says that the Earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof (Ps 24:1). God gives us seed to sow. When seed goes into the ground it produces fruit with seeds inside. We are to eat the fruit but sow the seeds. So from one seed there is more seed to sow. As we sow those more seeds, God again “multiply” our “seed sown”. So the purpose for the seed is (1) provide “bread for food” [this is eating the fruit], (2) multiplies the quantity of your sowing seed, and (3) give you the opportunity to do good deeds (fruits of your righteousness) that bring glory to God. Right now look at the seed God has given to you. Sow it into good ground, so that the Lord of the Harvest (Luke 10:2) can bring forth your harvest. Remember— no seed no harvest. Start sowing today. Your harvest is waiting.

Accepting Jesus Christ into my life
though I had left for other reasons, God prolonged things and prevented me from cutting myself short, He put several interviews in place so that I would not give up and then when the time was right He brought the right job to me two weeks later (he knew I needed that break I guess). As I wait upon the renewal of my contract ,I am confident that He will do it once again for He alone knows my hearts desire. And with time I pray that He will save my unsaved family and use me and everything that He has given me since I have come to know Him as an instrument to further His Kingdom.

Broken Beauties

“I will walk by faith, even when I cannot see, because this broken road prepares Your will for me.”

This line from one of my favourite songs by inspiring Christian artist Jeremy Camp, perfectly surmises the spiritual journey that God has guided me on of late. Like so many others, I believed the many lies fed to my fragile, feminine heart. Lies that grew into malignant trees of bondage and deceit, robbing me of the abundant life our Heavenly Father promised to us.
While beauty is the embodiment of qualities that express harmony of form, excellence, truthfulness, and originality, I believed that I was anything but. I felt that God could never really love me, would never want to really know me. And when a woman operates outside of her truth, the enemy has a field day in her heart and mind - accusing, condemning, controlling.
Until the day a magnificent Love intervenes to reclaim the captured heart, to vanquish the fiery dragon and claim the damsel in distress as one of His own. Something of the divine seeps into the broken heart and healing begins with the kiss of the Secret Bridegroom. It is in that moment of true revelation when all the broken pieces slowly fit into a pathway of purpose - you, woman, are loved with an Everlasting Love.

Having always known that there was only one true God out there and yearning to someday know Him. That was what life was like for me before I came to LPM. After having joined LPM my life has begun to change drastically and even more so after I have accepted Jesus Christ into my life as my Lord and Savior. Things are beginning to lighten up in my life now, I am no longer that stressed and unhappy person I used to be. I have now learned to trust in God for my miracles, even though I was saved I was a bit skeptical about this living God. Little did I know that He was out to change my mind, when He did the impossible in my life. He moved me from my old job only to give me the job that I wanted, which is close to my home and that was only the beginning. He went on to give me double and a third of my previous salary and even Website: www.lpm.org.za

Arjen & Christina Verboom from the Netherlands, were with us from 28 Jul to 7 Aug. They really touched our hearts with their love, commitment and humility. They will be returning next year to work with us at LPM in Operation Mercy. We thank the Lord for sending them to us. Please continue to pray for this couple as they prepare for their return to us, that God will meet all their needs and that they will have great success.
